The EM500EV (with the IB0 interface board)

The EM5x0EV evaluation system offers a convenient way of testing the EM500 and EM510 Tibbo BASIC/C-programmable embedded modules. The systems consist of two boards:

• The EM500EV-MB0 motherboard with an EM500 or EM510 module
• An interface board:
• The EM500EV-IB0 implements the RS232 interface with RX, TX, CTS, RTS, DSR, and DTR lines
• The EM500EV-IB1 provides a connector for the GA1000 Wi-Fi add-on module, 1,024KB of flash memory, and a limited RS232 interface (RX, TX, CTS, RTS)
• The EM500EV-IB2 features a connector for the WA2000 Wi-Fi add-on module, 1,024KB of flash memory, and a limited RS232 interface (RX, TX, CTS, RTS)

Tibbo offers a fully functional serial-over-IP application that can be tested on the EM500EV. Written in Tibbo BASIC, the application is compatible with the Tibbo Device Server Toolkit (TDST) software suite, comes with complete source codes, and can be modified by the user.
