Flash Memory Configuration

Tibbo devices differ in their flash memory size and configuration. As Sharing Flash Between your Application and Data explains, your device may share a single flash IC between the firmware, a compiled Tibbo BASIC/C application, and the application's data (accessible through the fd. object). Alternatively, there may be a dedicated flash IC for firmware/application, and another IC for the fd. object's data. This second IC may not be present on the device itself.

To find out what flash memory arrangement your device utilizes, refer to your device's platform documentation (for example, the EM1000's is here).
