.connectiontout Property

Function:	For the currently selected socket (selection is made through sock.num), sets/returns the connection timeout threshold for the socket in half-second increments.
Type:	Word
Value Range:	0-65535 (0-32767.5 seconds, 0 means "no timeout"), default = 0 (no timeout)

Details

When no data is exchanged across the connection for sock.connectiontout / 2 number of seconds, this connection is aborted (in the same way as if the sock.reset method was used). A connection timeout of 0 means "no timeout."

The actual time elapsed since the last data exchange across the socket can be obtained through the sock.toutcounter read-only property.
