How to Use This Manual

Top  Previous  Next

This Manual will tell you everything you need to know about developing applications for BASIC/C-programmable Tibbo devices.

You will also learn how to manage our programmable devices — upgrade their firmware, upload applications, understand LED signals, and so on.

The Manual assumes that you are familiar with BASIC and/or C.

That is, I won't explain the fundamentals of programming (or, for that matter, anything pertaining to the common engineering knowledge).

For practical exercises you will need to have at least one of our programmable devices.

I suggest you to use our Tibbo Project System, in the "Starter TPS2L" configuration: http://tibbo.com/buy/tps/tpc.html.

If you want to get a feel for our software platform before you commit to purchasing a programmable Tibbo device, then try the device Simulator.

The Manual is split into two large parts —
THE GUIDE   and   THE REFERENCE.

In   THE GUIDE,

THE INTRODUCTION is a good starting point to begin the exploration of the Tibbo world.

YOUR FIRST PROJECT is the single most important chapter. Read it!
